The Doris Day Horse Rescue and Adoption Center, located in Murchison, Texas - just East of Athens, on the grounds of the Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch, is a facility that rescues and rehabilitates abused and neglected horses, and ultimately helps place them with adopters who can provide them with safe, permanent, loving homes.
